Contact lenses are easy to use and care for, but they are medical devices and so should be treated with the appropriate level of care and respect. Even if you are an experienced wearer, or you are in a hurry, you must guard against taking short-cuts in the procedures you will have been taught by your optician.  In particular, never mix contact lenses and water.
